    Growing up in Bohemia, Strathmore used to be my #1 go to. After the change in ownership, I've continued to get my standard bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel, and now twice in a row the bagels are now almost hollow and flat. I'm not sure what's happened. I really liked this place before. Hopefully it's a fluke.

    LOVE LOVE THE FRENCH TOAST BAGELS. I order & pick up once a week for office meetings and some have fallen in love with the french toast bagels. Always fresh bagels. My bagel to go to spot.

    The food is fresh, delicious. The fried chicken cutlet was tender and moist! The atmosphere very welcoming, with candles adding to the warmth. The SERVICE is exemplary. Bagel slinging women work with precision, making sure orders are consistantly accurate. My server, Dorothy greeted me with a smile, and I appreciated that very much.

    Well, I used to go frequently but quit them when another bagel store with friendlier help opened less than a mile south of the Bohemia store. The women in the store act like the counter is their personal fiefdom- especially the one with the Eastern European accent- and get nasty if you question them. She told me they cook a minimum of two eggs when I asked for one. Nonsense! They walk away before you're finished describing what you want and then get your order wrong! Hey owner, time to clean house and get new help!
